Dreaming of your new home or renovation?

That’s how all new homes and renovations start, so you’re on the right track. However, taking your dream plans and turning them into reality can seem like an uphill battle. Deciding where to start can stop many people in their tracks and that’s where Woodford Homes can step in.

We have a proven 5-step process, that not only gives you the confidence that you’ve chosen the right builders, but lets you be informed and feel in control, every step of the way. We help you take your idea and turn it into an actionable design, which we then use to build your dream space right through to completion.

How does our 5-step process work?

  1. The Initial Conversation

We get to know you!

Our first conversation is an opportunity for us to get to know you and your project. Right from the start, we want to understand your needs, desires and the overall outcome you are looking to achieve.

Are you looking for a modern home or a more traditional style? You may want to extend your family home, creating more open spaces and functionality. Whatever your ultimate space looks like, we’re here to listen and see if we can make your dream a reality.

This is also a great chance for you to get to know us and how we work. This is the start of the great relationship we like to foster with you, that’ll continue throughout the entire process.

  1. First Consultation & Estimate

Taking your first real step.

This is where we take you through the design process and help you to determine how we can best maximise your investment. We’ll be able to provide you with an estimated financial range on your project and walk you through how the building process is likely to proceed, based on the specific space you’re looking to create.

We understand this space needs to reflect your unique needs while staying within your budget, so we’ll work with you to help you achieve both.

  1. Concept Design & Proposal

Now we get to create your design.

The first draft of your new space is fast approaching. We’ll measure your layout and ensure to create a design that suits your ultimate lifestyle.

Once you’ve had a chance to review your draft and ensure our detailed project costing is within your budget. We’ll be able to move on to step 4.

  1. Architectural Plans & Approval

The exciting part, seeing your finished design!

Once you’ve approved your initial design, you’ll get to see your finished detailed design for your final approval.

Can’t fully visualise your new space? We can also render your detailed design into a 3D drawing upon request. It’s a great way for you to fully visualise what your final dream space will look like.

Not only do we prepare your architectural plans, but we also submit them to your local council for approval on your behalf. We act as your liaison for your local council, providing all of the necessary plans, certificates and assessments required to get the space you’ll love approved.

  1. Construction Approval
